I am a professional documentary wedding photographer based in London working across the UK and Internationally. I use a reportage wedding photography style, otherwise known as wedding photojournalism to document the whole day, from getting ready and the ceremony, to anything that your celebrations may entail such as the first dance, meal, speeches and a party. I would also feel privileged to witness and capture any other forms of celebration that you and your loved ones have planned for the big day. My philosophy is to be as unobtrusive as possible and to capture the unique story of your wedding day. I am more than happy to create traditional wedding compositions, but my real expertise lies in creating images that honestly capture you as individuals. That’s where the beauty is.
On some occasions I work in tandem with my brother Matt who will support me if you require multiple photographers to cover your wedding day.
Please CONTACT ME if you need a wedding photographer around London or in any other parts of UK. I would be very happy to travel abroad as well if you are planning your wedding ceremony outside of the country.
Wedding Photographer Hertfordshire – Hunton Park – Christian Catholic and Jewish Wedding
Rachel and Vincent got married at Hunton Park in Watford Hertfordshire, a fantastic location with incredible architecture and relaxing country setting, just a dream spot for any wedding photographer Hertfordshire. As a London wedding photographer I was satisfied with how easy it was to reach it.
I am always pleased to be asked to photograph a wedding, but I was especially excited to be invited to photograph Rachel and Vincent’s interfaith Catholic / Jewish wedding at Hunton Park in Watford Hertfordshire.
It was the most beautiful day which started out with the groom and his family and friends getting ready in Golders Green. The Catholic ceremony was held in St. Edward the Confessor Church in London. Afterwards the wedding ceremony moved to Hunton Park in Watford Hertfordshire where the Jewish wedding ceremony was held. The ceremony took place under the Chuppah, as is traditional in Jewish weddings. The couple were given a brand new wine glass out of which they shared a sip of wine. The guests then shouted “Mazel Tov!” while the groom smashed the glass by stamping on it. For obvious reasons, the glass was wrapped up before being smashed. Let’s be honest, Jewish weddings are known for their dancing. If there’s one thing that most non-Jewish guests know about a Jewish wedding, it’s that someone is going to be lifted on a chair and there’s going to be some crazy dancing – The Horah. I really enjoyed it as a photographer and as a witness, I adored this part of a Jewish wedding. It was a hundred miles per hour, there was always ten things you could be capturing.
The Torah commands Jewish people to: “Love your fellow as yourself; show cheerfulness and love to others on their most special day so they can be happy; and celebrate in their joy as though it was your own.” This words describe really well the experience of this day. Please see my photos from this beautiful wedding celebration.
Congratulations Rachel and Vincent and thank you for choosing Shamack Photography to be your Hertfordshire Wedding Photographer.
Wedding Photography The Old Brook Barn- Navestock Essex
The Old Brook Barn is a the perfect venue to relax and unwind in the beautiful English countryside, with the added benefit of being within easy reach for a London Wedding Photographer and Wedding Photographer Essex.
The sun shone all day for Lillie and Ash in summer wedding at The Old Brook Barn in Essex 1st of September 2016. I have started a day very early with Lillie. She and her bridesmaids were getting ready in a cottage next to the venue which I found very convenient.
The wedding ceremony took place in the Secret Garden under Painted Gazebo. Lillie was escorted down the aisle by her proud dad. She looked simply stunning! After short but very emotional ceremony I had a chance to get some really great group shots. In a meantime all guests enjoyed drinks and canapes. Afterwards the wedding celebrations moved to the Old Brook Barn.
It was a truly grand wedding with a amazing family atmosphere and great and crazy dancing party.
Congratulations to Lillie and Ash for getting married and creating such a memorable day for yourselves, your family and your friends to remember.
Thank you for choosing Shamack Photography to be your Wedding Photographer Essex.
